Altweibersommer (Male) framed color lithograph by Paul Wunderlich (German, 1927 - 2010), signed and editioned 110/400. Circa 1980s. Paul Wunderlich was a painter, sculptor and lithographer born in Berlin in 1927. He studied at the Kunstakademie in Hamburg and later taught graphics there and in Hamburg. Among his many awards are the German Art Prize for Young Graphic Artists in 1960, the Japan Cultural Forum Award in 1964 and second prize at the Premio Marzotto Exhibition in 1967. He was given 35 solo exhibitions in 1965 alone and exhibited frequently in Germany and the United States. 1970 marked the publication of his first illustrated book, "Song of Songs", an Aquarius Press production including 10 large original color lithographs. Excellent condition with scuffing to frame and foxing on verso - see photos for condition details.
